Downloading plans

I use Google Drive to host my designs. Follow the below steps to get your plans downloaded to your computer.

1. Click the "DOWNLOAD" button to launch the downloads page for your desired model. On some models, you will see a set of folders indicating all available plan versions. Select the newest version.

2. Click each PDF file to access the download button.

3. Download each PDF and open it with Adobe Reader.

Printing plans

I optimize my plans to work with the popular 8.5x11 paper size which is commonly used in home printers.

1. Open the PDF you want to print using Adobe Reader and click the Print icon.
2. In the Print dialog box, click Poster.
3. Set Tile Scale to 100%.
4. Set Overlap to 0.005in.
5. Click Print.

Just as an FYI you don't have to download the files individually. If you click the little arrow next to the name of the project/folder in the header area above the file list (next to "Shared with me >"), it'll expand a dropdown with a Download link. Clicking that link will give you a zip file containing all the files/folders for the project.

Hi there. You’ll want to download Adobe Reader and then follow the steps I outline above. The plans should print out at the proper scale and in tiled format.

I want to use paper size A4 or A3, so just Set Tile Scale to 100%.
and Set Overlap to 0.127mm and that all?

Yes, you should be able to use any size paper and it will work.

What plane are you looking to build?

Very cool website with awesome content. What build would you recommend for a beginner builder and novice pilot. My flying experience is on a Apprentice 15e and homebuilt stick planes. Thanks

Hi Dallas! Thanks for checking out my site. My v2 nnChipmunk would be a great plane for you! Build it with the basic power setup/basic wing and you'll do great.

Hello there i am new to building, print plans and such, i had a quick question for you.

Im building the ChipmunkV2.

My process so far for the fuselage has been to print the plans, tape to foam board, then razor on the lines.
This has worked great so far and i can no be happier with how much you have taught me.

ive printed out the Left wing and cut it to shape,

How can i mirror a PDF to print the Right wing now?

I am looking at the P-51 plan. How thick is the wood for the wings and planes body?
